Allan Hancock College Public Safety Training Complex
Built on 80 acres, this state-of-the-art facility serves as a premier training location for Fire, Law Enforcement, EMS, and Environmental Technology. It offers specialized and customized training that meets the needs of local, regional, state, national, and international public agencies and private industries.
The complex is well-equipped to meet the safety training needs associated with the nation’s energy supply, including clean and alternative energy and the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas industry sectors and subsectors. Further, the complex is designed to accommodate training related to homeland security, disaster preparedness, and emergency response.

Named after the late Lompoc Mayor Dick DeWees, this 15,000-square-foot, city-operated facility has variety of rooms to accommodate meetings, conferences, expos and training programs.
The largest room seats 300 banquet style, and up to 450 theatre style. There are also several smaller spaces available for meetings and gatherings of 10 to 100 people. On-site are two commercial standard kitchens, and a private patio for outdoor events.

Throughout the City of Lompoc you’ll find an extensive park system with lighted tennis courts, softball, basketball and multi-purpose fields, and other indoor and outdoor facilities suited for tournaments, team training sessions, and competitions. Thirteen public parks, each suited for a variety of uses.
Regional swim meets, youth basketball and soccer tournaments, Special Olympic events, triathlons, fitness runs, and golf tournaments are just a few of the many athletic events hosted in Lompoc.
