Lompoc’s Outdoor Mural Gallery transformed our downtown spaces into one of Lompoc’s top attractions.

As you wander through the streets, you’ll encounter murals celebrating Lompoc! Murals depict our agricultural heritage, brave veterans, and capture the natural beauty that surrounds us Some murals even celebrate the local space program.

Many of the murals are curated by the Lompoc Mural Society, a local non-profit dedicated to revitalizing historic old town. Each mural tells a story that preserves Lompoc’s history through art.

One of the most popular murals is named “Last of the Titans: Missile Magic.” Created by artist Colleen Mitchell Veyna in 2003, it depicts the last of the Titan II launches from nearby Vandenberg Space Force Base.

The incredible “Price of Freedom” mural by Eliseo Art Silva pays tribute to all the brave service people. It celebrates those who served, fought and died in the fifteen wars and conflicts of the Twentieth Century. Other murals like the Chumash Indians and Lompoc Vintage celebrate local heritage, history, and culture.

Whether you’re a fan of big art or ready for a unique experience along California’s Central Coast, add a trip to Lompoc’s Outdoor Murals Gallery!
