2020 is officially here and it's time to preview all the fun to come. Mark your calendar and make your plans to attend Lompoc's biggest events! From food to fine arts to blooming flower festivals and wine weekends, our town has everything you need for a fun and comfortable retreat this year!

Here's our list of must-see events and festivals happening in Lompoc in 2020.

Lompoc Restaurant Week

February

Lompoc's week-long salute to local chefs offers the perfect opportunity to explore our local restaurants! Participating locations provide various discounts and specials including BOGO deals, special wine or beer pairings and more!

Traditional Mission Life Day

March 14
La Purisima Mission

Explore what life was like in the early 1800's with a visit to the beautifully restored La Purisima Mission. Through tours and demonstrations by costumed docents, visitors can immerse themselves in turn of the century activities like spinning, weaving, tortilla making, blacksmithing and more.

Flower Field and Wildflower Blooming

April - September

In the "Valley of Arts and Flowers", visitors can see spectacular patches of colors from spring through fall in the farm fields and throughout the hills of the Lompoc Valley. Spring wildflower blooms are popular with visitors, as well as the rotating blooms of the commercial flower fields. Visit the Flower Tracker for updates beginning in April.

Sheep Shearing Mission Life Day

May 4
La Purisima Mission

This fun, family-friendly event will delight young and old as you experience our sheep getting their annual shear! Learn about wool production and enjoy hands on activities designed to educate and entertain.

Lompoc Flower Festival

June 24-28

We celebrate Lompoc's long history of flower growing at our annual Flower Festival! The festival features carnival rides, games, arts & crafts vendors, food, and live music.

Children's Mission Life Event

July 20
La Purisima Mission

Children will enagage in the wonders of history with this special hands-on, kid-friendly mission experience! Visitors will immerse themselves in history and experience what life was like in the early days of the mission and with this fun and interactive event at La Purisima Mission!

Annual West Coast Cub Fly-In

July

Sunny skies and beautiful summer weather provide the perfect conditions for one of the top fly-ins for historic aircraft in the U.S.! More than 100 planes and aircraft fly into the Lompoc Airport where they perform tricks and flying demonstrations. You could even have a chance to interact with pilots - all for free!

Historic Fabing-McKay-Spanne House Tours

Mondays & Thursdays, 9 am to 11 am
Fourth Saturday of the month, 10 am to 1 pm
Lompoc Valley Historical Society

The historic Fabing-McKay-Spanne farmhouse, built in 1875, is fully furnished in true Victorian style. Named for the three families who lived there, the home was the first two-story building in the newly discovered Lompoc Valley and is a monument to the rich history of the valley.

Lompoc Certified Farmers Market

Friday Afternoons, 2 to 5 pm
Old Town Lompoc

The Lompoc Farmer's Market is a weekly chance to indulge in the fresh-picked seasonal abundance of the fields in the Lompoc Valley. Bring home some fresh cut flowers to your special someone or grab some freshly baked goodies from local vendors. Free admission and vendors meet rain or shine.
