The Pops on Broadway

As has become custom, the Flower Festival Queen and her Court will be in attendance and honored to include Ms. Ashlyn Woods whom THE POPS was pleased to sponsor this year.
By popular request, all performances, with the exception of the December Christsmas Concert, have been moved to Sunday afternoons at 4:00 pm. to accommodate children and families. The venue remains however, the same – Lompoc’s beautiful First United Methodist Church at 925 North F. Street.
Ticket prices remain at $25 for general admission and $5 for full-time students of all ages with student I.D. shown at the door. Active duty military are also admitted at a discount with I.D. shown at the door, and children 12 and under are admitted free.Lompoc’s own POPS ORCHESTRA, under the brilliant direction of Dr. Brian Asher Alhadeff, will be presenting its summer concert entitled “Broadway Comes to the Pops!” on Sunday afternoon, June 23rd at 4:00 p.m. This 55-piece orchestra is primarily composed of the Central Coast’s finest musicians who join forces four times a year to present America’s all-time favorite music at very affordable admission prices. It has become so well respected that many talented musicians from the general Los Angeles and Bay areas participate when their schedules allow. This particular concert will be featuring pieces from America’s greatest musicals including “West Side Story,” ” Oklahoma” and others. The program includes some surprise soloists and is guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser!
