Join the Return to Freedom Wild Horse Sanctuary on Saturday, May 4 for their opening day and to celebrate Kiger mustang Spirit’s 29th birthday. Whether you’re attending with family, friends, or solo, this will be an unforgettable day! Take a staff-guided walking tour of the sanctuary and observe the herd, witness a Native American blessing of the horses and land, enjoy local food and wine, and get a chance to celebrate with Spirit—and get your photo taken! Spirit, a Kiger mustang, served as the artists’ muse and model for the beloved 2002 DreamWorks Animation classic “Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.”
