
Lompoc Pops Orchestra: The Symphonic 60s and 70s

The Lompoc Pops Orchestra returns Sunday, March 30, at 4 p.m. with a show packed with hits from the ’60s and ’70s.
Visiting vocalist Wendy Laurier will pay tribute to Karen Carpenter with classics like “Top of the World” and “We’ve Only Just Begun.” She’ll also perform Linda Ronstadt’s “Blue Bayou” by special request. Lovers of the songs of the psychedelic era will also enjoy the orchestra’s Beatles and Beach Boys medleys.
Doors open at 3:15 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 925 North F Street. Tickets are $25 general admission, $5 for students (with ID), and free for kids 12 and under. Active duty military receive a discount with ID.
