Founding Day Mass

Held in the historic main church of La Purísima Mission to celebrate the founding of the mission. The public is invited to attend. No reservations are required; this is a free event.
Founding Day recognizes the day La Purísima Mission was established on December 8, 1787 on the Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.
