The grounds feature historic buildings, free guided tours, a Visitor Center, Exhibit Hall, livestock, and 25 miles of trails for hiking and horseback riding. The grounds are open 7 days a week (except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day) and parking is $6 per vehicle.

The fertile Sta. Rita Hills are renowned for producing exceptional pinot, chardonnay, and other cool-climate wines. Enjoy a tasting at the large estate vineyards in the hills, the Lompoc Wine GhettoSta. Rita Hills Wine Center, and Midtown Lompoc for over 30 tasting rooms!

Jalama Beach is a short, scenic 30-minute drive from Lompoc. Jalama is an uncrowded beach that is perfect for surfing, kite surfing, nature photography, fishing, hiking and has a bird estuary great for bird watching. The beach is open 7 days a week and day use is $10 per vehicle. The on-site grill is open daily, so don’t leave without grabbing one of their popular “Jalama Burgers”.
