Sip Lompoc on Mother’s Day

Looking for something special to do on Mother’s Day? How about a wine-tasting adventure on the California Central Coast?

Wine drinkers and wine aficionados from near and far have discovered the charms and deliciousness of Lompoc’s boutique tasting rooms, and now you can, too, during the Sip Lompoc event on Sunday, May 8, 2016, from 1 to 4 pm.

You can pick and choose your tasting stops from a list of 17 participants, each offering a special Sip Lompoc tasting menu for your enjoyment. Download a map of participating tasting rooms.

The all-inclusive price of $40 per ticket ($43 if purchased on line) includes the following:
– Sip Lompoc logo wine glass
– A four-bottle Sip Lompoc wine tote
– A $10 value Sip Lompoc chip that can be used event day at any of the participating tasting rooms
– A bottle of water
– Sip Lompoc Wine Passport that includes a map and info on participating tasting rooms

Here’s how it works …
Check in at the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce between the hours of 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm the day of the event in order to get all of your goodies. You can park for free in the Chamber’s parking lot and hop on the event bus to ferry you to the tasting rooms. Or drive on your own, and go at your own pace. All of the tasting rooms are in town, and close by, either in the Lompoc Wine Ghetto or in the Midtown area.

And if you get hungry, you can purchase scrumptious snacks and meals from the various food vendors set up along the way, or make time to enjoy lunch at one of Lompoc’s tasty eateries.
