At the end of Jalama Road, south of town, travelers will find the ‘world-famous’ Jalama Burger grilled at the store at Jalama Beach Country Park. Some says it’s the secret sauce that tops these mouth-watering burgers, others say it’s the seasoning, but whatever it is, the Jalama burgers receive rave reviews. The drive to Jalama is scenic, rising into the hills on the way to the ocean. Well worth the drive, with or without a burger at the end of the road.

Follow the alphabet and get ready for one of the most unique burgers in Lompoc at Tom’s – Home of the Educated Burger – offering an alphabetical list of burgers, A to Z! Guests who are a bit curious or perhaps ‘crazy’ as the menu suggests can opt for ‘C’, a burger topped with peanut butter. Or for those who love adventure can try a ‘K’ burger, the menu teases:  ‘kidding around is okay, but a banana burger, really?”

Eddie’s Grill is a local family favorite, with a wide selection of specialty burgers, loaded with an impressive assortment of topping options. Two favorites are the Santa Barbara & Western Burgers. Be sure to order a shake made with real ice cream – vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, cookies and cream, and even pineapple coconut!
