At the end of Jalama Road, south of town, travelers will find the ‘world-famous’ Jalama Burger grilled at the store at Jalama Beach Country Park. Some says it’s the secret sauce that tops these mouth-watering burgers, others say it’s the seasoning, but whatever it is, the Jalama burgers receive rave reviews. The drive to Jalama is scenic, rising into the hills on the way to the ocean.
