Tucked in a quiet valley nestled between the rolling hills of Lompoc is a family-owned farm that seamlessly blends modern day farming techniques with the down-to-earth authenticity of the past. What is Dare 2 Dream Farms?

In 1970 the grandfather of Jeremy Raff bought a 42-acre plot of land that became this family’s farm. What began as a home for the family with some livestock and fields has evolved through the generations to become a farm stand, CSA, farm-to-table event center, free range egg and chicken provider, custom chicken coop builder and vacation getaway.

Jeremy and wife Megan Raff have their hands full, but they always operate under the four farming pillars – local, natural, sustainable and humane.

Livestock and Chickens

Dare 2 Dream has a farm full of furry friends that you can see during your visit. The Raff’s have goats, ducks and dairy cows roaming the farm, but their real specialty is their free-range chickens. Approximately 2,000 chickens per month are sold to individuals per month to start their own coop for delicious organic eggs-the Raff’s even sell their prized chickens to many celebrities (though we can’t say who!)

These much-loved pasture chickens give way to another one of the farms enterprises-their free-range eggs! It’s no secret that eggs from hens that live a life with sunshine, fresh air and lots of love just taste better – so Dare 2 Dream Farms provides them at their farm and select locations throughout California!

Produce

One of the many things that makes Dare 2 Dream Farms so spectacular is their fresh, organic produce. Grown by hand and tended to by their WOOF-USA Interns, their produce is guaranteed non-GMO, organic and delicious. Interested in tasting it for yourself? Visit their produce stand during your visit or become part of their membership program and have a box of freshly harvested veggies, eggs, dairy products and breads delivered  to your door or nearby pick up location!

Farm-to-Table Events

As if their organic produce and eggs weren’t enough to get you excited, the farm also puts on a host of different farm to table events that will make your mouth water. From harvest dinners to cheese and yogurt making classes, Dare 2 Dream gives you the full foodie experience right in their backyard!
