Lompoc Valley Flower Festival and Parade

June 26-30

Celebrate the agricultural heritage of Lompoc at the colorful event! This five-day festival that includes carnival rides, arts and crafts exhibitors and food booths is kicked off with a parade complete with floats that have all been constructed by local organizations and feature flowers and other natural materials.

Join us on a docent-guided walking tour of the Return to Freedom Wild Horse sanctuary.  Observe the herd, meet some of the mustangs who live here and learn about these native American.

2019 West Coast Cub Fly-In

July 12-14

View one of the nation’s top fly-ins of historic aircraft at this one of a kind event! Over 100 vintage aircraft land at the Lompoc airport during this event and perform demonstrations and maneuvers for the crowd. This family-friendly three-day event is free to the public and welcomes kids of all ages.

Sta. Rita Hills Wine and Fire Weekend

August 16-18

Enjoy winemaker hospitality along with world-class wines and grilled specialty foods. This special weekend event includes a Barn party, Saturday tasting and lunch and the grand tasting at the La Purisima Mission!

Jalama Beach

Just a short, picturesque drive from Lompoc, Jalama Beach is a popular place for surfing, kite surfing, bird watching, nature photography, fishing, hiking and camping. Beach caves can be accessed about 1 mile up the beach and the Jalama Beach Grill serves up the famous Jalama burger and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week! Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months.

With one of the largest outdoor mural displays in the country, visitors come from all over the world to enjoy the 30+ murals in Lompoc! Each piece of art depicts a different aspect of life in the Lompoc Valley and takes hundreds of volunteer hours to complete.
