Presented by the Lompoc Theatre Project, Lompoc’s first chalk festival – Lompoc Chalks – will take place October 12-14 at in Old Town Lompoc, at the two public parking lots located at Cypress Avenue and I Streets, near “Art Alley”.
Chalking, entertainment, food trucks, artisan vendors, hayrides, mural tours, theatre tours, a beer and wine garden, VIP sponsor area, and more to enjoy! There will be small squares for children ($12, includes box of chalk and space) and larger squares for adults (starting at $150). Everyone is also welcome to sponsor a square for your favorite artist; event proceeds benefit the Lompoc Theatre Project.

Friday, Oct 12, 2018: Party with the Chalk Stars
5 to 6:30 pm – Meet the Artists Wine Reception at Lompoc Theatre
6:30 to 10 pm – Dinner and Dance at the Anderson Parks & Rec Center
Party with the Chalk Stars as we kick off our Lompoc Chalks Festival weekend in Downtown Lompoc! The evening begins with a reception at the Theatre, featuring local wines and beers, and light appetizers. Sarah and Paul Barthel will be on the stage to entertain, playing old show tunes while you mingle with the chalk artists. At 6:30 the party moves to the Anderson Parks and Rec Center, just down the street from the Lompoc Theatre. Enjoy a no-host bar and BBQ dinner followed by an evening of dancing to the Hard Times Band with Benny Contreras. Tickets are $50
Saturday & Sunday, Oct 13-14, 2018: Lompoc Chalks Festival
Chalk event begins at 10:00 am. There will be food trucks, art vendors, music, entertainment and a wine and beer tent. Open to the public with a suggested donation upon entry but not compulsory. Final work will be filmed at 3:00 pm on Sunday, with clean up to follow. The entertainment ends at 5:00 pm both days.
Event admission is free to the event. Donations are welcome to support the Lompoc Theater Project.
