Southern California native Joe draws inspiration from Lompoc’s natural beauty and vibrant arts community. Working primarily in acrylic, his art has evolved from realism to expressive, impressionistic styles featuring vivid colors and patterns inspired by nature.

Joe also practices lapidary art, incorporating gemstones and their natural patterns into paintings, jewelry, and mixed-media pieces.

The public is invited to meet Joe and view his work at the reception on September 13 from 1–3 p.m. at Cypress Gallery, 119 East Cypress Avenue, Lompoc.
