Beginner Plein Air Painting Workshop

Discover the joy of painting outdoors in this beginner-friendly plein air acrylic painting class. Join us on Sunday, August 9, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at Centennial Park to learn the fundamentals of painting from life in a beautiful outdoor setting.
In this class, students will learn how to:
- Create balanced compositions
- Understand basic value and color theory
- Complete a small acrylic painting on location
Students should arrive at the Cypress Gallery at 12:45 p.m. to meet the instructor and set up their easels under the gazebo at Centennial Park.

Students should bring their own acrylic painting supplies. Painting supplies and an easel may be borrowed for an additional $15 per person.
