Civilization Wine Company
At Civilization Wine Company, wine is a family affair! Owner Kris Beverly’s family has been involved in fermentation for three generations, with their first vintage launching in 1990, which featured a blend of grapes and local fruits. This early exposure sparked a passion that has been nurtured by their family’s tradition and connection to the land. In 2021, Kris turned his love of winemaking into Civilization. While the current winery is a one-man operation, he is fortunate to be part of a tight-knit community of winemakers in Lompoc who support and collaborate with one another. Current production stands at around 400 cases per year, with hopes to expand in the years to come.
Civilization located in the shared cellar facilities at the Lompoc Wine Factory and they are open Friday – Sunday by appointment 11am-5pm.
