Official Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID IN RHODE ISLAND AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. Eligibility

This Enter to Win Giveaway Contest (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (excluding Rhode Island) and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry, or twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry for any alcoholic beverage giveaway (proof of age required prior to prize release).

Employees of Sponsor (as defined below) and other companies associated with the promotion of the Contest, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies, as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee, are not eligible to participate.

2. Sponsor

The Contest is sponsored by Visit Lompoc, LLC, the official tourism business improvement district for Lompoc, California, d/b/a Visit Lompoc, LLC (“Sponsor”).

3. Agreement to Official Rules

By entering the Contest, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules and fulfillment of all requirements herein and under applicable law.

4. Contest Period

The Contest begins and ends on the dates and times posted or communicated at the Visit Lompoc booth during the LA Travel Show (the “Contest Period”). Entries submitted outside the Contest Period will not be eligible.

5. How to Enter

In-Person Entry:
Eligible individuals may enter the Contest in person by visiting the Visit Lompoc booth at the LA Travel Show and providing their email address on the official contest entry form.

By entering, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Only one (1) entry per person is permitted for the duration of the Contest Period.

  • You are voluntarily providing your email address.

  • You will be subscribed to the Visit Lompoc email newsletter and may receive future email communications from Sponsor. You may unsubscribe at any time.

All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

6. Prize Drawing; Odds of Winning

At the conclusion of the Contest Period, Sponsor will select one (1) winner at random from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries.

7. Winner Notification

Potential winners will be notified by email using the email address provided at entry. Sponsor will attempt to notify potential winners within a reasonable time following the close of the Contest.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) business days of the first notification attempt, is found to be ineligible, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.

Winners may be required to complete and sign a Declaration of Compliance and/or Release of Liability within five (5) business days of notification. Sponsor will take reasonable steps to fulfill prizes within approximately thirty (30) calendar days following confirmation of eligibility.

8. Prizes

One (1) prize will be awarded. Prize details and approximate retail value will be provided by Sponsor upon request. All prizes are awarded “as is” with no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

9. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest if it cannot be conducted as planned due to fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, or any other causes beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules. Failure by Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

10. Release and Limitations of Liability

By entering, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of any prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries or for any errors or issues of any kind related to the Contest.

11. Disputes

Except where prohibited, all disputes arising out of or relating to this Contest shall be resolved individually and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of California. These Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with California law, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Privacy

Information collected from entrants will be used solely for Contest administration and inclusion in the Visit Lompoc email newsletter. By providing your email address, you consent to receive email communications from Visit Lompoc. Sponsor will not sell entrant information and will handle personal data in accordance with its privacy practices.

13. Winner List

To request the name(s) of the winner(s), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:
