One of the most exciting weekends for Central Coast wine lovers is the Sta. Rita Hills Wine Fire Weekend, August 18-21, 2022. Attendees will enjoy a delicious weekend of tastings, exploring vineyards and wineries along with the rich Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs that have put this wine region on the map.

It All Starts with a Barn Party!

Kick off the four day celebration with a Barn Party at Hilt Winery. On August 18, enjoy wonderful wines, BBQ snacks and a cheese and charcuterie table catered by Central Coast Speciality Foods all at Hilt’s reconstructed Barn.

Dinner Honoring Rick Longoria, Vintner of the Year

Come to Babcock Winery on August 19 for the La Paulee Dinner honoring the Vitner of the Year, Rick Longoria. Start the evening with a sparkling wine reception followed by a BBQ dinner catered by High on the Hog Catering. Try the provided wines during dinner or in the spirit of La Paulee bring your own bottle to share with friends.

Speed Tasting with a Winemaker

On August 20 spend time having conversations with 8 of the Sta Rita Hills winemakers. Winemakers will rotate around each table chatting with guests. After, enjoy a boxed lunch by Cups and Crumbs.

Saturday Night Wine & Fire Grand Tasting Event at La Purisima Mission

The grand finale for this truly memorable event is the Saturday Night Wine & Fire Grand Tasting Event. Wineries, local chefs and Sta. Rita Hills farmers will be on hand for this once-in-a-lifetime event on the grounds of the historic La Purisima Mission, the most extensively restored mission in California. You’ll enjoy top shelf culinary delights as you make your way from table to table, sampling Sta. Rita Hills wines at this truly fun and creative wine and food event.
