1. Go Wine Tasting

Since most are close together, you can park and stroll from one to the next or visit the Wine Ghetto’s 20 boutique tasting rooms. Many wineries specialize in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, made from locally grown grapes, and some offer sparking wine options like Flying Goat Bubbles.
2. Picnic in Wine Country
Pick up a picnic in town at Central Coast Specialties Food and head to the nearby Sta. Rita Hills vineyards for a romantic lunch for two and unbelievable views. Sanford Winery & Vineyards on Santa Rosa Road is Lompoc’s oldest winery, is a lovely place with exceptional wines.
3. Take a stroll along the coast
Take a 30-minute country drive out to Jalama Beach Park for a quiet beach stroll or a hike on nearby trails. Kick off your shoes and walk barefoot along the shore during sunset, or wander through a beach cave during low tide. Save your appetite for a stop at Jalama Beach Grill where locals and visitors alike rave about the Jalama Burger.
4. Explore an outdoor Art Gallery
Lompoc’s Old Town has its own outdoor art gallery with more than 40 impressive murals painted on buildings and in alleys throughout the area. Take a self-guided walking tour of the murals while discovering this historic district. You’ll find lots of great shops. Stop by Sissy’s Uptown Café for lunch and a slice of pie or grab a latte at South Side Coffee Co.
5. Go Skydiving
Looking for something more exhilarating? Nothing gets your heart racing like skydiving. You’ll have ocean views and valley vistas as you soar through the sky on a tandem jump with Skydive Santa Barbara at Lompoc Airport. More than 300,000 thrill-seekers have taken the plunge since the venue opened its doors in 1998. You can pick from two different heights: an 18,000-foot dive or a 13,000-foot dive.
